The Bee Fortress Roof solves many problems with Langstroth hives. Number 1 is ventilation – the Roof ventilates the hive at a trickle rate and condenses humidity and drains it out of the lower end of the Roof. Warmer, humid, CO2-laden air constantly bleeds out the upper vent of the Roof, at the rate that the beekeeper selects, with or without a fan.
