The Bee Fortress Foundation mates with the Fortress Vestibule. The Foundation is a hive stand with moat and cover, and two tie-down “eyes” that accept two Lock Straps that hold the hive together when connected to the Roof. The Foundation Floor has four 1/2″ holes (one at each corner) that lags go through to anchor the Foundation to a wooden or concrete surface. This way, no bears, vandals, or wind can flip the hive over.
